In all areas of Glasgow there are many activities to keep you amused. It has been voted the as one of the best locations in Europe to visit, with its enormous list of pubs, clubs and restaurants, it has the best nightlife to cater for all.

The heart of Glasgow is George Square that has Victorian City Chambers, fabulous shopping facilities, and beautiful streets to stroll along. There is high street fashion at areas such as Buchanan Galleries and the St Enoch Centre, as well as Princes’ Square and the Italian Centre catering for the more specialised designer labels.

The centre of the city is home to most of Glasgow’s cultural events and venues, there is The Theatre Royal (home to ballet and opera of Scotland), The Pavilion, the Centre for Contemporary Arts,  The Lighthouse Museum of Architecture and many, many more to visit. You should also use your hire car to visit places such as the infamous Loch Ness, where history and legends are blended together against fantastic scenery of castles and vast spaces of land. There are tours taking you through the Scottish highlands taking you along to see the truly spectacular natural beauty of the country itself.
