It is the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies with 10,878 sq. kilometres of mountain wilderness. You can take a trip to the world famous Columbian Icefields which is one of the only Icefields accessible by road. There are also great sites to see the Miette Hotsprings, the hottest natural springs in the Canadian Rockies; Maligne Canyon, one of the most spectacular gorges in the Rockies, where you can trek through its winding trails to the Mailgne River.
